Hi, would I be correct in assuming that the correct Lucas rear brake switch fitted to 1962 model 50 is part # 31437, regards David
Does anybody have a recomendation for a better ignition switch than the one usually fitted to a 2A Commando? In over 40 years of ownership I have probably replaced this switch four or five times, and now I think it's on the blink again.
On the wiring harness p/n 06.6396 there are 4 red wires (see picture) and one seems to go nowhere. I cannot find the other end and need help to know what it is for?
A friend of mine has a pair of Commando 850 MkIII’s, both fitted with LED lights throughout, including side lights and instrument lights.
I am helping a friend sort out the electrics on his 99. It has a 6V Lucas E3L-L-1- C dynamo. It is positive earth.
A PO has fitted the wires as shown in my sketch attached.
The final half mile of my road in Bulgaria is very bumpy being made up from railway sleepers.
My Dominator is therefore tested every journey including the electrics.
The law states that the headlights must be on at all times.
While at the Ardingly show yesterday I visited Paul Goff's stand to buy a new bulb for my chrono speedo. I have not so far taken any notice of the new trend in LED lighting apart from valuing my LED head torch which goes everywhere with me.
