I have just got my 72 750 Commando back on the road after 2 years and rode to the Ace Cafe from my home in North London. Ver satisfactory indeed. On my way back at the lighte next to Highgate tube on the A1 I spied a 961 on the pavement.

Paul Bradley mentions a battery conditioner appenntly helped extend the life of his battery on his 961, Paul which conditioner did you buy?

Well after my expensive 'Schoolboy' error, I went to the factory to collect my SE today. Looks brand new with polished cases and fitting my Rizoma grips and mirror just finishes it off.

OK I have bitten the bullet and put in my order for a 961 Sport.

PS Hope my clutch does not rattle

Has anyone experience in using heavier oils in the gearbox/primary to help reduce the clatter and clutch screeching?

2010/11 Commando 961

Switched off and out of gear, is it normal to have a clicking coming from somewhere in the back end (possibly wheel/chain area) while wheeling the bike backwards or forwards...?

I have just bought a 2010 Norton Commando for which I have a query.

A very upsetting day when as with others I had some starting problems, with MOT overdue had to jump start - to access the battery, remove tank - Do not balance as it can fall off!!!

I have very nearly crow barred open my bank account for a deposit on a new 961 Sport. Shall I Shall I not buy?

I might be fighting a losing battle!

Hi there, First question and sorry if its been asked before but I couldn't find anything recent, I have a 961 and want to get a paddock stand but don't want to pay the £195 factory price, can anyone advise me on a decent seller / product please?
