Norton N15cs Engine Plates

Forums

HI, I have just bought a set and a half engine plates from the States (ouch). I have also just drawn up on the drawing board all the frame mounting points and engine plate outlines. Is there any interest in making sets of mounting plates from Gauge Plate? I also have good photos of the impossible to find Foot-Rest Brackets. I am thinking of forging some. Of course new old stock would save some work. Any thoughts chaps? I might have a spare Matchless AMC gearbos as well.

Hello, Paul, I would have thought that going down the Stainless steel route would be a good option in 6mm plate laser cut, we do have a guy in our area that does laser cutting, yours anna j

Thanks Anna. I have thought of that, most of the local laser cutters use food grade round here. I have seen quite a few people having difficulty finding engine plates and footrest mountings, so is there a demand for a bulk order? I have the machinery and time.
