Morning Alan,

I've had a couple of orders get delayed witha lackof email responses. They all came thorough in the end. The spares guys are all very good at what they do but sometime life gets in the way of their hobby of helping us care for machines.

Have you emailed both the "Spares" and "NOCShop" addresses? Its summertime andone or more of the Spares guys may be cruzingon their Norton. Trying another address could work for you.

I'm sure this post will prompt a response from them. In the meantime one or more members are going to add posts indicating that the Spares team are volunteers and there could be delays. They do so even if you start your post ackowleging those very facts :)

Cheers from Halifax,

Hello Alan,

Best to try Ian Somerville on 023 8029 2920 who can almost certainly give you an answer- his email is in Roadholder. The spares email normally goes direct to Neil Shoosmith and he works long hours and is sometimes very hard to catch up with.

Thanks Guys, yes i respect that it is a volintary positition with very little thanks and I apologise if my post has been read otherwise, what I am concerned with is that my order may have somehow not been received and i am running out of time to do anything about it this endand as I am in New Zealand it is hard to comunicate directly.

Thanks for your help, Alan

Alan,

As a recent past treasurer of NOC for 9 years, I can say we may be slow, but we never let anyone down. Worldpay debit your card as soon as you place the order and forwards the order to one of the club officers - depending on what you ordered. Spares orders and merchandise orders go to Ian Sommerville. It could easily be a week before the part is picked and packed. Postage will be by most economical, not fastest, and my own experience of posting parcels to Australia suggests that customs clearance can be very sluggish.

Have faith, contact Ian if it's spares or merchandise, and don't cancel. Undoing the credit card cancellation will give the new treasurer a load of grief.

Thanks everybody, after sending another email I have received a reply from Ian apparently my email went to his junk mail anyway I now have some confidence that my parts will turn up sometime.
