Hi,

I have owned my Commando 37 years and as I wanted to enter the Bikers Classic meet at Spa this year I have done a nut and bolt re-build on it.

As the bike is in the best condition it has been in since I have owned it, I now have a renewed interest in all things Norton so I figured it was time to join the club. To explain the renewed interest comment here is a picture of how the bike looked in Febuary and one as it is now.

If there is any interest I could do a build thread as I took a few photographs along the way.

Not too sure Ralph as I'm a new member myself (only had a Commando since 1984)but I guess you would contact the editor of the mag, and ask how to go about it.

Thanks Sam, How would I go about submitting an article for the Roadholder ?

As the ex-Editor I would suggest that you type it out in 'Word'. Select any pictures you have that you would like to be included and then either email the files to the Editor's email address or send him the files on a CD to the address on page 2 of Roadholder. Please do not insert the images into the 'Word' document as they are difficult to get out and may be corrupted during the process. If emailing the documents please remember that the Editor needs to have the final images at 300dpi so the images you send need to be reasonably big files. Just because it looks good on a screen at 72dpi does NOT mean that it will look good in print. If you are sending BIG files then either your email programme of the NOC's server may 'bounce' the files if it cannot cope. Sometimes this means that you have to send pictures one at a time.

Apart from that, enjoy writing the article and good luck!

Ian
