Alfin barrel question

Forums
I believe I have an Alfin Barrel for an ES2. It has 9 fins which I believe indicates it is an ES2 design barrel. I have some questions though. As I understand from the NOC website the Alfin casting process molecularly bonds the aluminum alloy to the steel sleeve. The barrel I have has a bore diameter of 83.6mm. Also, the amateur machinist has exposed the aluminum from his/her shoddy workmanship. I have attached pictures of the barrel.- Because of the Alfiin process, can this barrel be resleeved with reasonable labor and costs?- If so, what would be a reasonable process to remove the sleeve?- Could this be a Big 4 barrel or just a cobble job?Any and all feedback would be possible. This is my first post and the picture attach process was a little confusing. Thanks.Josh FribleyColumbus, OH USAAttachments Image%201.jpg Image%202.jpg technical

Hello Adam,

Thanks for the information. I have contacted Mike Pemberton and the barrel is indeed an Alfin design.
