wiring a Model 7

Forums

It is about electricity and Model 7.

After trying off the shelf Norton looms for dynamos Domis, I found my way to MES (listed in the services pages). I sent them a copy of the wiring diagram contained in a 1950 owner manual fora Model 7.

Two weeks later, I got a loom similar to the one on the 1950 diagram. Same colors, proper length of wires.

Modernity came with additinol wires for the rear brake /stop light switch.

The loom was braided at a little extra cost.

Amazing quality work. Thanks to Bob and Julie for their patience.

I waiting for the ferrules to finish the dynamo and regulator wires.

I am also looking for an old but working 6V Lucas horn. I could hide a modern one behind the gearbox and keep for the eyes my original but silent Lucas.

The tail light/ my father installed a Lucas rectangular type used on Domies.

Where can I find an oval one as it will follow more closely the shape of the plate number?
