News from the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG)
Sunak’s Levelling Up Fund is a massive opportunity for motorcycling
This version: 2020-11-26 Embargo: IMMEDIATE
The Chancellor’s new £4 billion Levelling Up Fund is a great opportunity for motorcycling. Motorcyclists can win investment for secure parking facilities and bus lane access, so the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) advises members to contact their councillors and MPs.
News from the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG)
MAG receives confirmation that motorcycles are ‘not in scope’ for 2030
end of sale of petrol and diesel vehicles.
The Government has announced that the UK will end the sale of petrol and
diesel cars and vans by 2030. The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) has
received confirmation from the Department for Transport (DfT) that the
sale of petrol motorcycles is not in scope of today’s announcement.
It is with deep regret that I have to announce that Chris Grimmett died today; Chris had a heart attack when out running on Saturday and never regained consciousness.
As MAG are members of the Motorcycle Crime Reduction Group, we have been asked to share this press release to be on your guard regarding motorcycle theft during the pandemic.

The Spares Scheme is universally applauded but there is a need to replenish the bins as they empty, particularly those key items which cannot be purchased through our excellent specialist suppliers well known to readers of Roadholder.
One of our members has had his Commando stolen.
The area was: Gilesgate, Durham, UK sometime during the 26/27th September.
Details are:
Perhaps driven by the recent survey to our members, but our Spares Officer has received many emails on how to order spares from the NOC shop. So if you want to save some money when you need spares for your bike, follow this simple guide to keep your bike running:
