A sudden noise in the head of my Model 50 lead me to discover the adjuster locking nut was loose. I can't see if the thread of the nut or the adjustment bolt is stripped, but the nut can't be tightened anymore. It just rotates freely.
This seems a bit of an odd question and one i never thought I'd need to ask.
Until recently i owned a 1938 16H which that a modern solid state reg concealed inside the box of the old mechanical type.
My '56 Model 50 currently has a failed electronic ignition system and I wish to replace it with a new 6v system.
Can anyone tell me what the threaded hole on the lower left fork yolk is for please, thanks David
Hello all can anyone tell me the size of the woodruff key (e3681) fitted to the sprocket that drives the distributor . Bike is a late 58 model 50 with points.

straightforward question. Was the above ever supposed to have a copper head gasket or were they always straight on, head to barrel.
Mine doesn't have one, but i guess that doesn't necessarily make it right.
