The rods on my 1962 650SS which I am preparing to rebuild are the Commando-type with additional oil holes at the big end (NM23258).
Close examination shows some minor damage to one of the rods in two places.

My forum switched to Russian (or something !) and would not allow me to enter English . Somehow its reverted without my help ? whats going on?.
We have oil leaks from under the heads of the 3/8 head bolts on the Atlas. These are stainless and will be changed back to std steel OE bolts. Any sealing washers recommended?. we will be using sealant on the threads .
Hi. After a long (1+ year) layup due to I'll health I've got my 99 back on the road again. The trouble is that the clutch plates don't want to separate when I'm getting ready to start the bike. This is a new problem for me.
The thread is stripped in one of the holes in the cylinder head that receives these studs. I want to helicoil it. Can anyone advise me of the correct helicoil kit to buy?
What's the procedure for strobe timing with a disc on a '61 99? The procedure in the twin cylinder manual is archaic!
