Just wondered , why is the swingarm bushes lubricated with thick oil - instead of grease , as so many other , similar devices are . Has anyone out there tried to convert by drilling bigger holes in the shaft ? - sure someone has but what was the result ? The benefit of grease , should be , easier to keep in where it does good .

Hi Ole,
The swinging arm bushes on the Commando are porous (oilite bronze) so require oil. grease will just block the pores and the bearings will start to wear.
