The rectifier on my 1959 Jubilee is looking past its sell by date, must be at least thirty years old.
Are all 6 volt rectifiers the same, any recommendations.

John, I've recently fitted a solid state rectifier identical to the one sold by the club. It works perfectly but you do need to run a separate lead to earth on the frame from the fourth terminal which is marked with the earth symbol.

Fit a modern solid state rectifier. They have all the advantages as they are cheap and easy to fit. Your best bet will be to contact Al Osborn as he can both supply the goods and also tell you how to wire up. Vastly cheaper than the old type rectifier and much superior.
