I have a group of friends who are rebuilding a variety of Commando,s 750,s & 850,s. We are trying to get the correct thickness of the headlight spacers 06-2035. We have seen these advertised by a number of different suppliers and each one has them as a different thickness from 7/16" to 5/8" ?? Could you please explain why the difference for parts with same part number.

This would be the way to go if they had the facility. They have each purchased a pair of these spacers and there is about 4 mm difference in the lengths. I suppose they are wanting them right for originality sake.
