I want to identify two camshafts please. The casting numbers areT 2047 and T2219. I have two camshafts with the T 2219 part number, one which is stamped X2 referring to the depth of hardening I believe.

Hello yes X2 is the harder cam to the X1 but after saying this the X1 is a good hard camshaft , and first used in the 650 Manxman from Nov7th 1960 the camshaft number 2047 is a later number of the what is know has the SS cam shaft it went on into the first Commando models up 1970,
