I have a top Yoke, I think from an Atlas. I would like to have it powder coated but unsure:
1) How to safely remove the barrel
2) where to get a key from
3) A new lock if key is impossible to find.
Any ideas appreciated.

Have a look on the underside where the lock is and you should see a small screw which screws in from the top yoke into the lock. Remove the screw and the lock can safely be pushed out from underneath. If the screw isn't removed the housing in which the lock is located will crack.

I had a look after cleaning it up and found that part where the screw should be, cut away. So I gently drove the lock out from under (I never force anything these days) and job done. Thanks Chris and Ian.
