I just got my "new" 650SS home. According to the History section they where always silver. But my bike has a green tank with a piece gold striped black. Oil tank and battery cover is gold striped. The seat have a hump. The only thing on the bike which don't look original is the hideous apehanger handlebar, which I'm sad to say was quite popular in the sixties. The bike is dated sept. 8th -67 by NOCs excellent records. When it was first registered and got it's license number in Sweden on the 24th october -67 it was noted as green. To me it seems that it has it's original color. Anyone who have any idea if I'm right?

The Bike in picture is correct [less pinstripes] for an American export Atlas, though according to my parts list was an Atlas option, but as we know the factory would supply what the customer wanted!

Some export G15CS's were painted that colour green, as i have a friend in Canada who has a CS in that colour green. I also saw that colour green painted on a G15/N15 oil tank heat shield cover in the shop window of Joe Francis Motors, in Eltham, back in the 1970's.

Thank you all for the info…
Thank you all for the information provided so far. About the double sided 4 leading shoes front brakes and the Borrani rims, I believe that they are added at least 20 years ago. The adjusting rods lock nuts fits a 10mm spanner and not 3/8" so I guess that the front hub is of Continental origin, probably from Italy. The hub fits nicely in the fork so it is probably made to fit Norton. After some more examination I came to the conclusion that the front brake is 230mm Ceriani. There are holes under the swingarm pivots, which might have been used for the Dunstall rearsets popular in the sixties.
I'm not really understand answers about the tank, are the black/gold, looking as a decal an later add-on?

Not being the authority on Dominator colour schemes, this looks like a previous owner's attempt to make the bike look different. The ape hangers would only have been found on a limited variant for export to the USA.
