Edit: not a Jubilee, but a Navigator, sorry..
Friends of mine recently ran into this fine Navigator participating in a trial event at the Costa Brava, Spain. Rider is Kevin White? Notice the cylinder head rotated 180 degrees.
Here a link to a facebook reel of man and machine in action: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1873885809875048

I wonder....

Seems to be the same bike Ian
The article you refer to mentions Kevin Smith as the rider, (creators son), and there are so many bespoke items (sump shield, points cover...) that match I'd say it's the same machine. Nice long intake for higher torque and clear of the water. Though I do like the idea it was done to clear the exhaust away from the down tubes. Nice thing...

Didn't the factory hitch a sidecar to a Jubilee and compete in a trial, possibly ISDT? Intended to show what a tough little machine it was, although results didn't quite bear that out!
Sure I've seen a photo of it somewhere online.

Yes...
... it was Bob Collier. He finished which was a massive achievement but apparently the chair chassis ended up badly out of line. There's a thread here: https://www.nortonownersclub.org/forum/sidecar-jubilees

Looking closely at the barrels it has got seven fins so it is a Navigator engine.....or a heavily modified Electra engine without the electric starter or primary side.

Having the carburettor up there makes the tickler more accessible without bending over.
No I am not being the tiniest bit serious.

... why he reversed the head? That inlet tract looks very convoluted. I think there was a Jubilee in the pre-65 Scottish either this year or last, wonder if it was the same bike / rider? Yes, a quick look at the 2024 results show a Kevin White finishing on 76 points. I assume the same bike. In fact I posted here about it a couple of years ago and was told it was in fact a Navigator.
