I am putting together a pair of monoblocs for my Atlas. I have 2 kinds of carb top. One has a threaded hole for the cable adjuster and one has a smooth through hole for the top hat style cable end. Which is the right style of carb top?

That's enough evidence for me. I will go ahead and use the threaded ones. Luckily I am swimming in old carburetters these days.

Hello if you playing with twin carbs they need to be in tip top condition or New or you will not get them balanced right and you engine will run rough has old bag of spanners Yours Anna J

Well, I have all Winter to get all my best used pieces together. I may even make some brass slides. In Spring I should have a magneto (being rebuilt right now) so I will know then if I have to switch to my Commando concentrics (which I don't like the look of).
