Slimline Centre Stand

In the 1961-62 parts list in the centre stand section on page 43 I've found the items «17591 Rubber stop» and «E5278 Pin for stop».

Somebody outthere knows those items?

Bump stops for stand to protect frame?. Pin? dont know.

I used an old footrest rubber, sliced along the longitudinal axis (whoo, get me!) and fixed to the stand 'cross bar' with tape. Works for me ;-)

Can you tell me how and where it should be fitted?

Just down from the pivot there is an "ear" each side. The left hand side ear should be drilled to accept a bump stop.
