On the Commando and Dommi rear wheels there is a'washer' 067608 / NME5276 (13/16" x 1 1/4") that fits in between the dummy axle and the brake plate. On the parts list it's quantity is marked as 'AR' which I'm presuming is 'As Required' and are therefore there to add as an adjustment.
So are these washers really shims to space out the drum/wheel from the brake plate (which is clamped up to the swinging arm) to add clearance for the brake shoes or to align the chain/sprocket?
