I am fixing a notchy change into first, the rest of the gears were working ok. The box is in situ in the frame. On getting the cluster out I find that mainshaft second and third dogs are also worn but selectors and camplate seem fine. If I buy a new mainshaft second its bush comes separately, can someone advise me about fitting the bush? Sounds as if I might need to ream it to fit the mainshaft after fitting it to the gear.
