Second question on 750 Atlas/N16CS engine (there's bound to be more)
Camshaft from engine is excellent and marked HC 7014 and all I can find on internet is vague reference to it being "drag profile"
Can anyone identify it ?
Thanks Richard

Thanks for that, looks quite new the HC number looks etched or laser.
Also the peaks look to have been welded and then ground so your idea of a "special" looks good.

As your N15CS is an import from Nortoh America, then the camshaft may have been changed to uprated one, from many of the camshaft makers that were around in the 1960-70's. The standard Atlas camshaft is stamped with a T2219 on the camshaft. The camshaft kits that were supplied with these companies, their camshaft also came with cam kits. This consisted of valve springs, alloy tops, and other parts to go with the makers camshaft. You could try Megacycle Cams in California as they bought many of the camshaft makers that closed down. They may have this part number in their files.
