Petrol Tank Covers

Hi all. Has anyone had a decent Tank Cover made for their Norton. I have a "BagLux" cover on my Yamaha and would like something similar for my Mk3 Interstate.

It would be good to know a supplier who has undertaken such a product and even better if they were based in South East England!

Many thanks in anticipation.

Bootleg Bike seats in Preston made me couple for my Dommies, but of course you have to take them a tank, they also made me a slimline seat in faux snakeskin!

See if anybody knows somewhere even farther away.

Way back in the late 1990s I took Baglux then based in North Wales up on an option to take an Interstate tank down and try harnesses on.

I found one that looked a good fit off I think an XS750 Yamaha. Roadholder ran an article at the time.

The harness did not fully  cover the front of the tank. It laid ont the top and the  Norton tank logo was visible which I kind of liked.

Standard size tank bag could be fitted.

If I can find more detail or an image I will add to this post. I may also be able to get hold of the harness from the bikes current owner.

You can Google and get a good idea of what the harness looks like. Mine was black

No help to anyone now, but my brother had a fitted leather cover on his Wideline 99 back in the late 60s.  The tank badge fitted on the outside. It was a proper bespoke item and I've never seen one before or since. Unlike me, he sold the bike somewhen in the early 1970s as I recall.

I think his was a 1959 model, like mine, but a Cafe Racer style with twin carbs and alloy guards.
