Gents,

ate these two holes(pointed to) for knocking out the bearing race? I do not want to stick a double punch in there and find out it's not for knocking out the race.

Is there a min/max diameter on the shafts (drive/timing bearing placements) or is it just a nice fit with out any slop when the bearings go on? Hope this helps makes sense?

Do these cams look as if they have been reworked? Numbers are 11588 and 11587 which I think are Manx cams that may have been fitted as standard by 1953.

I'm at the early stages of planning a restoration of a 1928 ES2. 

I've been trying to fit the brake lever supplied with my ES2 without success. I bought the machine in boxes and have been trying to assemble it.

Anyone else experienced their Inter cutting out at junctions changing down into 2nd Gear?
