Nice to see this pic (and others) from the Access Norton site of a 961 being used as it should be.

Perhaps the moderator can assist with this. As I understand it from the factory there are some 1000 961's registered. Presumably most are in the UK. If so how many UK/European 961 owners are NOC members on this forum.

961 owners will know the seat padding is somewhat 'minimalist'.

I recently had Les of Saddlecraft Seating, (01914 556262) make me up a new seat.

Two of us are starting off from South London, any others up for riding down with us.

Take delivery on Monday of my new Dominator. Will do a write up on how its rides etc weather permitting!!!!!

Having recently seen the new James Bond film Spectre did I get a very fleeting glimpes of a Norton 961. It was in the seen of Q's workshop while he was showing Bond the Aston Martin.

Having removed my Magneto I suspect my pick up ring is badly worn, I contacted Dave Lindsley, Magneto specialist, who quoted £350-£450 for an overhaul +vat+postage +extra for parts. This sounds quite expensive,
