Modern Nortons

Hi all, thought I would start a little thread detailing my brief ownership so far of #96. I've not bothered to post prior due to the seeming impossibility to post pictures. But I appear now to have cracked it!

Here we go again. Why do we do it to ourselves? If I was running a website I too would want to limit/cut out what appears to be complaining for the sake of it. Sorry if this ruffles a few feathers.

Does the club have an agenda regarding suppressing negative comment about the 'new' Nortons?

Having never been round the new factory at Donington, could the picture be of 961 engines being assembled in the new Government referendum brochure ?.............I suppose it was very similar at Bracebridge St when my model 50 was made in 1960....

Does anyone know where I can get a decent tailtidy for my 961 Commando?

Hi all. My 961 Sport Mk11arrived yesterday and I love it.

I am not sure if anyone is interested but a very nice man called Sean who is based in Norfolk and is a member of the forum produces parts for 961's including throttle body covers.

I've seen some 961s and Dominators with an opaque greyscale flying Union Jack painted on the rear cowling (I think it's called a 'cowling').

Does anyone know where I can get this done (in the UK) on my 'bike?
