In late 1965, Rhodesia declared unilateral independence from Britain. There was a total embargo placed on goods going to Rhodesia. Among this was a shipment of 650 cc Nortons intended for the Rhodesian police. Most or all of this shipment ended up in Canada. Does anyone have any information on this concerning the exact timing and the number of bikes concerned?
