....it's good, but how about this; I gave a BTH magneto to a bloke to recondition and........ 16 months later he still hasn't done it. Genius.

For some owners, the above is probably not going to beat the early model 961 delivery dates, .......... 30 months or more!!!

Hi Richard, I ordered spares from RGM by phone at 10pm Melbourne time on a Thursday and they were at my local rural post office for collection the following Monday. I was very happy with that as they had to come with Royal Mail and Australia Post.

RGM are tops...but I would say many big sellers are similar nowadays. Take Screwfix and Toolstation for example....Free postage and less than 24 hours for delivery. The internettechnology is incredible too...just minutes ago I signed for a delivery from Germany and within 1 minute received an email confirming that I had received the item...Les

Another fast delivery and efficient firm, Simply Bearings, no longer go to bearing suppliers or await jumbles ,free delivery which is normally next day if ordered before 2ish, and they will post a single cheap oil seal out . I needed a v belt in the highlands of Scotland for a repair to a friends machine and did not pay the next day delivery charge but it still turned up promptly. No connection or anything with the firm just in the spirit of good firms worth supporting.

I have had similar rapid and reliable service from RGM and like the fact if you miss the delivery your package goes to your local post office (in uk of course) not the sorting office which is much further away and has shorter opening hours.I have ordered almost a complete bike from Roger and his staff (as you do bit by bit) over past 5 years had only two small issue an he dealt with them next day service to plus he was pleasant helpfu knowledgeable (he always is) an apologises unlike another noted parts supplier.I have also had next day delivery from Simply Bearings at no extra charge an got four sealed FAG wheel bearings for a friend's Triumph (its a TRIUMPH if they actually move as its all made of pig iron an weights a ton) for less than half the price of one unsealed and probably cheaper make bearing from a Tr..... parts supplier.
