New member here, and new owner to boot! Be gentle with me....
I've bought a Commando 850 Mk3 from a friend in France. He road it over there in 2012 and it hasn't turned a wheel since, been laid up in a dry garage. It's a 1976 plate. It's a Norvil Commando, bought "brand new" using a 1976 bike. Only done 970 miles!
He never registered it in France, still has GB plates but is showing as "Exported" on the Motorscan web site. He can't find a log book.
Question is, how do I re-register it in the UK? I don't have the bike here yet, trying to find the best deal from a transport company, although I do have the reg, frame and engine numbers. All docs and a receipt are in the post.
Do I have a nightmare on my hands?
