Hi everybody, if you are thinking of coming to the AGM at Donington Hall this weekend you will probably have seen the "Directions to the AGM " piece on this site's home page. I live 25 miles from Donington Hall and being unfamilier with its exact location I decided to have a "dry run" in the car so I will know the way on sunday when I will be on the bike and not able to use the sat-nav. I read the note about the two post codes and put the suggested "correct" one DE74 2SG in the sat nav and set off. This post code took me to a Baggage handling Industrial area at East Midlands Airport which was about 8 miles away from the location I wanted. Realising I was in the wrong place I re set the sat Nav to the "wrong" post code DE74 2SB and it took me straight to Donington Hall. So, do what you want but if you can't find the place, try DE74 2SB . For those without a sat nav, if you make your way to Castle Donington village as you are passing through look for a left hand turning called park lane, it is also marked with one of those brown coloured information signs that says "Priest's House Hotel". take this road right out of the village and about 1 mile into the countryside you will come to a left hand turning, sign posted "Donington Hall". Follow that and it will lead you straight there. Best of Luck and see you all there on sunday.
