NOC video Mick Hemmings tutorials for heavy twins

Congratulations for this project.

The tutorails on DVD produced by NOC with the experienced know how of Mick Hemmingss are not only very useful for many of us but will also preserve this knowledge as a piece of living history.

We could have saved a lot of time and frustration by getting things steps by steps done in the proper order, with the knowledge of why parts were machined in one way so as to work properly.

Pictures can replace a good visual memory to recognize and avoid loosing bits and pieces across the bench or trays or boxes. Then to put them back properly on the engine.

I have decided myself to list on one side the needed tools I use and next to them their specific applications on the engine or the bike.

I noted the precision of Mick Hemmings when he commented on the evolution of differents parts , such as studs or sleeve nuts or threads on the Commando (tilted engine).

Having had several generations of Nortons twins, my sorting boxes are full of fasteners of different periods. From time to time, I try to sort studs, bolts, nuts according to their localisation or use according to size and threads.

So congratulations for these videos, I will make them compulsory viewing to the kids who are expecting to ride my bikes in the future.

Thanks

RenÃ?
