New commando owner in Sussex

Good morning.

I have recently purchased a 1973 blue Norton commando 750 and the insurance company would like a valuation off a NOC official. I am in Eastbourne. The bike frame says 828cc!

Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Hi Judd

the value of your bike will depend on condition. The fact that it is not matching numbers will detract from the value but not the enjoyment you will get from the bike. Most insurance companies will accept self valuation plus four photographs from front and back and both sides for agreed valuation for classics assessed at less than £10,000. I suggest that you re-read the form, it may say something on the above lines otherwise try a different company.

If none of this works we will give a valuation based on the above. A good staring point is the price that you paid.
