What year are you talking about? If it's 57/58 it might be the same or similar to the singles of those years? Skip might be able to advise better.

Mr Merki...A whole week has passed by so as you have shown no interest in my comprehensive answer I have deleted it ( although I realise you probably have already benefited from the information)

I don't know what nationality you are but in England we are taught to give acknowledgement and a thank youto anyone who provides assistance and help. It is just simple politeness! Perhaps you assume members here are just to take advantage of and give back nothing...simply just keep asking questions and expecting a free answer?...I am always ready to help anyone as much as I can, but cannot tolerate selfish bad manners....Hopefullyno one gives youany answers with your future questions...

Dear Ies Howard,

Thank you for the helpful answer before and I do sincerely apologise for not answering you and not saying thank you. Although I have to admit I didnt understand completely what you wrote as I do not speak English too well so for asking and answering I need to ask my son to do the job for me and as he was not home for 2 weeks he could not help me out so quick.

As a matter of fact there are nobody who has Norton motorbike around me so It gives me a hard to find details about the small bits and bobs.

Now I am doing a full refurbishment on my motorcycle as there were a lot of parts installed which were not original Norton ones.

Once again I am sorry if I am seemed to be rude.

P.S.: By the way I could not benefit from your information as I couldnt understand it. But even the picture was ever so helpful.

Regards,

Istvan Merki

Istvan: Your English is as good or better than a lot of native speakers so please do not be embarrassed about using it.

p.s.: I like the square tubing set up you are using to set the wheel alaignments.

Mike
