Sadly the 'new' key didn't work, but I suspect the lock barrel is seized anyway, as it exhibits no movement within the outer body at all.
I do have a new lock on the shelf... in theory, all I have to do is raise the top yoke by 1 1/2 to 2 inches to allow clearance for the old lock to drop, after having drilled out the roll pin of course.
Sounds simple enough, but I know life (and old motorcycles) rarely take the simple path, so any suggestions regarding procedure or pitfalls would be welcomed, thank you... (Richard?)

Thanks! Looks like it may be a bit much for the trusty Dremel then. I do have a very small screw/stud extractor (tapered thread type) which may be of use, but it wasn't overly expensive so I won't expect great things of it!

Good luck! I failed miserably trying to drill the roll pin out on my Mk3. Wrecked HSS and carbide bits...
...So I carry a lock and chain instead.
