LAYDOWN GEARBOXES

Forums

Dear Members,

Could any of our extremely knowledgeable members be able to tell me from what type of machine and perhaps year of manufacture the following laydown gearbox numbers come from. It's all to do with my refurbishing a useful spare.

GT 101 1269

G102 5305.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Hi Peter

GT101 is for plunger/rigid frame singles

GT102 is for plunger/rigid frame twins

Paul

I think GB8 is for featherbed twins and GB11 for cammy singles, but I wouldn't swear to it.
