I have posted an advert in the classified section under exchanges but would like to draw attention to it here as it's relevant to pre Featherbed single owners. I have a Laydown gearbox, complete and in working order prefixed GT 101 which I'd like to exchange for similar but prefixed GB8 which would fit my Featherbed 88 project.

Thank you Stuart, I may well be very interested. I will have to check the mainshaft length I have as I believe it may be shorter on the boxes intended for singles. I would also be interested to find out if the gear ratios used in the GT 101 are different to the ones used in the GB8 units?

I have a GB8 inner case which I believe is the only difference from the standard lay down box. Experts on the forum should be able to confirm.
