I'm trying to fit a new kickstart shaft to my AMC gearbox.
The replacement from RGM is too large a diameter to go through the inner chain case bush. It looks a few mm longer too.
So frustrating!!
Has anyone else experienced this?

RGM look to have one kickstart shaft for Commando, Atlas and Dominator. When you go to Andover Norton they have one also but from 62 onwards and their inner cover is also 62 onwards but not MK3 ie only to 74. So based on that the RGM should also be 62 onwards and your box is pre 62 hence it won't fit.
