Jump Starter for my commando

I need a jump starter for my 1971 750 commando, the normal suspects (for cars) the connectors won't fit as the battery terminals are a lot smaller than cars, can anyone suggest a jump starter, and if it has a compressor built in all the better.

Thanks

Have you considered wiring in a lead with a socket that allows you to plug in a jump starter or charger?

No but I might just get a motorcycle battery charger, I can wait for that to work was just wondering if there was such a thing. Are these leads available or home built jobbies

Every rider should carry one of these:

£29.99 inc. P+P

I can vouch for the claim that it will start medium-size petrol-engined cars; with USB outlet to power your phone as well.

If you have a large diesel, bigger versions are available (at higher prices).

I believe some chargers have leads and connectors supplied for this. There is a wide range available from 'Vehicle Wiring Products'

I fitted a DIN 'Hella' type socket to my Commando both to supply auxilliary power and to plug in a charger if needed.
