Does anyone know what size the oil pipes on a 30's inter are? The holes in the crank case are 1/4 BSP and the oil tank is 3/8 BSP. Does the stepped nipple go at the crankcase with a 3/8 pipe used or at the tank with a 1/4 pipe? Are the feed and return pipes the same diameter?

The oil pipe unions that screw into the crankcase are 1/4 BSP stepped up to 3/8 BSP (at the crankcase end)for the oil pipes to attach to.

Here's a piccy of the union that goes into the crankcase. Both return and dlivery are identical. It is recommended that they are bored out to 9/16".
