Here are some photos of ES2 and Model 7 tanks available from India. Please check the fit before painting. On another note, I've said it before but I'll say it again, STAY AWAY from Indian Mudguards unless you know something I don't. I have a number of them that will never fit any norton ever made.

In my experience (I am sure some others will disagree) the tanks are not bad. Obviously original is best but that will cost and often rechroming an old one , (if you want chrome that is) isn't an option.I bought an ES2 chromed tank, the finish is good, it didn't quite fit initially but a bit of adjustment of the saddle and it is fine, the holes line up. I also have a Model 7 dominator tank that needed more work but didn't involve any redrilling, just used a vice to bend the mounts slightly. The model 7 tank leaked but with some tank sealer it's fine and looks great.
