Charging a BOM battery

My bike has a 6v Bom battery inside the old casing ,what sort of charge does it need? . I will probably make a charger out of an old drill charger or similar.

Bom Batteries is a trader based near Doncaster. They attend the major autojumbles. Used to be run by Paul Metcalfe

Any trickle 6 V charger will do the job, plenty to choose from.

Thanks guys, but what i was looking for is the voltage and amperage,I have stacks of electrical gear and will make my own!.I guess about 7.2 to 7.5 v and 1/2 an amp, I'm just not sure what form of battery it is.

BOM stands for Battery Ownership Model. It's a methodology for determining thebest type of battery to optimise lifetime ownership costs. I suspect thet the company BOM sells a variety of battery types. Only they can tell you what you have. I find that a LIDL battery charger does all I want. If you make your own, if your battery is sealed, you want to avoid gassing with its obvious hazards, but I am sure you are well aware of such things.
