Can't undo Laydown - Clutch Worm Nut

Done it - a big ring spanner - thanks for your help Barry.

I couldn't screw out the worm from the worm nut as it looks like worm was in contact with the end of the main shaft and had burred over. Should there be something between the mainshaft and the worm that isn't shown in the parts diagram?

I cleaned of the burrs with some diamond files. So what sort of fit should there be between the nut and the worm - I have some slop!
