Hi Guys just a quick one does anyone know what the correct bolt and nuts are for the following.
the side stays on the mudguards and the ones that go through the bridge on the top?
split washers or normal washers?
also 3.0 19 is that correct for the front on the post 65 bikes?

3.o 19 will do fine , some will go for more modern tyres but they are often wider and clearance issues. I think the bolts are half inch long quarter cycle thread, But later AMC built bikes got a bit bastardized and so they could be unf! . I like cycle!. Plain chrome washers on outside (preferably with a proper Norton chamfer).Cut Domed washer between guard and stay to avoid crinkling the curved guard , Undeneath a plain and crinkly lockwasher.Looking at my parts list these parts have just a number but no real description .Did norton ever produce a proper description I wonder?.
