Morning all
hope you can help. I am changing the speedo/tacho mount to new one purchased from Norvil.
The chrome filler and retaining plugs that need to be removed to replace the mount, will not release from the forks. They have unscrewed with no problem but will not release for removal.
Any ideas please.

Find a block of wood or a brick, With the bike on a center stand or similar support ,with the nuts undone,pull upwards on the mudguard, the forks will rise up ,kick the block under the tyre, the nuts will now have risen up a couple of inches and you will find the damper rods are screwed into the underside of the nuts with a locknut. when you come to replace watch out for your fingers when removing the block!.
