I've just bought a 55 ES2 in trials trim, the last parts of the numbers match, but the frame starts KW it's clearly an original stamping, is there any relevance to this?
Also any recommendations for the best manual/book?

Hi Dan,
Factory error I'd say. I have seen another 55, an M7, prefixed KJ12. KW however is very unusual but still possible if the member of staff wasn't paying attention to what he was doing.
Manual wise there is little that is dedicated to a specific model unless you get lucky and find the correct handbook (not great as usual with all handbooks)of which it took me three years to find one and only two seen since. The code on the back is 14120/54 and it's off yellow in colour.
