springs for roadholder forks

Forums

I have a 1957 Norton Model 50 / 350 and am replacing the springs in the road holder forks but am uncertain which ones I need. Can anyone please advise and where I could purchase them from?

Many thanks

Where are you, if in England/ UK check out RGM  Norton Cumbria the have all the spares, progressive springs, I bought an entire new set of forks from them excepting the sliders and Fork Headlight shrouds/ears and upper covers.

Thank you very much John, have managed to get the springs and seals from there but I am struggling with the front brake shoe return spring and side stand spring and centre stand spring. I will put a new post on the forum asking where I can get these from.

thanks again, Dave

Dave,

At our Shepton Mallet autojumble I've bought stand springs from Martin Bratby's stall.  His contact details are:

Martin Bratby THE COACHOUSE WORKS LIMEPIT LANE HUNTINGDON CANNOCK STAFFS WS12 4PA 01543 572583 FAX 01543 876202

He doesn't seem to use the internet and is quite difficult to contact, so good luck.  Apparently, he's concentrating on the Amal carb side of his business and the spring stock may be running down.
