Hi folks
Can anybody recommend a manual or guide to help rebuild a Dollshead and an upright gearbox? I have a crate of parts both mixed together which I have just got round to looking at. I have refurbished a couple of AMC boxes before with the help of Micks dvd, but have no experience with either of these. Something with decent illustrations ideally.

upright gear box
hi Jason
had old Nortons forever and just rebuilt my first upright gearbox using the Classic Motorcycle supplement issued several years ago. If you were to e mail me on davidgibson30@hotmail.co.uk , I will either send you a photocopy or photograph the supplement and send down the wires. It is not a very informative supplement although there are drawings but I managed it and have no knowledge of the internals of gearboxes....and have four gears, and in the right order. the gearbox was the last taboo for me, there is now no single part of my pre war Nortons that I have not touched. Never too old to learn.

Have you tried the WD Norton web site? It has a downloadable manual for the 16H.
