Hey,
I have this rear hub, can you have a look at this picture and tell which type has this kind of hub?
Should this hub be fitted in the middle of the wheel or should it be moved towards the axis?
All help is welcomed
Istvan

Hi Istvan,
This hub is the standard Norton inter-changeable hub as used from 1932 onwards on most models, and was used post-war on several models on the back wheel only, until 1956. If you could send a photo of the other side it would tell us whether it is pre or post-war. All these hubs have an off-set and if you can borrow an original wheel that will be the easiest way to find the measurement for your particular model. If you are getting a professional wheel-builder to build it he may have the dimensions already, otherwise you need to assemble the whole hub, brake and drum, spacersand spindle assembly and fit to the frame to find the centre line. Regards, Richard.

Bonjour, morning, guten tag,
6,35mm (1/4") is for cylindrical diameter;
in the chromed rim, holes are 7,0mm aproxim.! (on MY bike...)
