My Norton

Forums

I bought this 99in boxes last September and am very pleased with the way it's turned out, my last Norton was an ex WD 16h in 1969 sold that in 77 to pay for new kitchen.

I did spend a lot of money on it,( made Dick Emery happy) and I know the colour may not be to everyones taste but it is for riding not looking at.

I have just bought a Triton again in boxes, it's a 61 slimline with twin carb T100 engine 58, some to keep me busy over the winter.

Take care all

That looks really good Colin, I would never sell my WD16H for a new kitchen though :) They weren't worth very much then either.

I paid a fiver for it in 69 and sold it for £375 in 77, only let me down once when I tried toride througha flood, lost the road and rode into a floodedditch.......bike just vanished.

Hi, Colin, I opened the link, to see your bike, very smart. However, a new page then opened regarding battery life in smart phones and tablets. This could well be a scam, as it advises downloading two apps, to solve the problem. If anyone else gets the same message, I suggest DON'T!

Er Colin, I don't think the bike did let you down, I rather think it was you who let the bike down!

I am sorry about that John, I am not that computer literate.

Thanks

You are right Howard, and the mag never did spark again, I had an exchange from Pride n Clark for £7 I think, paid COD.

My take home pay was about a tenner as a fourth year apprentice toolmaker with Bowden ................left there 2006 when it was shut by new American owners.

Colin, I can only see lots of nice bikes on your photbucket album - A Flea, a Panther and a flat tank Triumph...I suspect that it is John's PC that is infected.

Nowt wrong with the pictures !

The Dommie looks great by the way. A restoration in less than a year...it takes me that long to sort the bits out !
