Clutch adjusting screw

Can someone tell me the size of the clutch adjusting screw in the clutch outer pressure plate?
I suspect 9/16" x 16TPI.
My outer cover needs work and I must decide how to do it.

I have the following in my notes for Dominator  nuts, bolts and threads.

CLUTCH ADJUSTER   06-1179  SCREW  CEI  1/2"x20

Hello Richard - I have just measured the screw in question and can confirm Phillip's quote from the DSN's. The screw is a 1/2 inch BSCycle thread  of 20 tpi.  Incidentally a nut of 1/2 inch UNF thread does fit the screw without problems.  I have sucessfully machined a top-hat to fit on the inside of the pressure plate, from steel, with the correct thread to fit the screw and it did the job ( and probably still is !)   Good luck, Howard

..... for you comments.
All the information I have about Cycle threads state that all sizes above 3/8" have 26 TPI.
In any event, the tapped hole in the center of my cover is very worn, and a 1/2" bolt is very loose in it and is unacceptable.
I know it shouldn't be done, but as I have a 14 mm x 1.5mm pitch (spark plug size) tap, bolt and nut, I will use that. Here in SA it is difficult to get Cycle/BSF bolts, and nobody I know has a 9/16" tap.
Thank you again.

Hello again Richard - Are you sure that the info doesn't say under and including 3/8 inch the cycle threads have 26 tpi ?  From 7/16 inch and upwards 20 tpi and 26 tpi BSC are common. Cheers. Howard
